Saaremaa’s spas are best known for mud treatment. Estonians started to use mud for health treatment in 1824 in Saaremaa and since then it has been very popular not only in Estonia but all over Europe.

Besides mud treatment, Saaremaa’s spas offer a numerous amount of other procedures, such has hydrotherapy treatments (herbal bath, milk bath, pearl bath, infrared sauna, etc.), massages, body and facial treatments.

Saaremaa’s oldest spa is called Georg Ots Spa Hotel and it is especially popular among the Finnish people, Germans and Latvians.
